Turns out jumping off huge buildings counts as trespassing too!
A man believed to be 8Booth, the dude who’s amassed more than 32 million views on his recently uploaded videos of him dangerously jumping off very high places into very small bodies of water, was arrested Oct. 25 in Laguna Beach, California, the L.A. Times reports. Anthony Booth Armer, 28, was taken into custody near his home.
Armer is charged with both two misdemeanor counts of unauthorized entry of a dwelling and one misdemeanor count of trespassing with intent to interfere with business, specifically for three of his alleged videos: an Oct. 14 jump off an eight-story building into its neighboring harbor (the video up top), a July 21 jump off a private residence’s rooftop, and a Sept. 29 jump from the fifth floor of a hotel (that required passing through employee-only areas to access) into its pool (video below).
In most of his videos, 8Booth wears a bandana around his face and a GoPro strapped on top of that. He almost already identifies which surface he’s jumping off and where it is.
Also, the alleged suspect doesn’t seem too mad about all this.
Let’s check back in when the sentencing drops.
